Laksa & Monopoly

Joanne, I was never one of those that will fight for food as I loved you all too much to deprive you all. hahaIt was always a great time for me to have you all coming to Poh Kwong Park. I always looking forward to see you all and then Dad ( ta ker) will come and pick you all up. One of those enjoyable time will be "laksa" time. Everyone will try to outdo each other how many bowls we ate. You dad used to be the champion of Laksa. There were many occasion in which your parents would attend night function and both of you would be babysit at our place. Those were fun time too.Er sen poh hasn't changed much except the target has changed. Now the "leng kim" are meant for Jaomi & Tim. She still makes her nice fish balls. The ice lolly is weekly ritual for Jaomi and Tim. The curry is still her trademark. When Joy was in Kuching, she would still play with Jaomi & Tim on that Games that have a lot of faces. (Inherited from you all). Before I forget, when we were young, we did not get to buy expensive games except chess. But we were privileged to play "Monopoly" that was cloned by uncle Lim ( san -suk). The money was the lottery tickets taken back by my dad ( Er-suk-kung) from the turf club. It was so precious to us. I wonder where is the monopoly now. Should keep it for the next generation to see and appreciate how blessed they are now.More to come. Sorry, need to get to work.

I stayed in either middle or back room. Both are with lots of books. Both you and Zoe like to play there. I used to put Zoe on my lap and sang christian songs
