Instructions and Others...

Well this is the first entry for the "Tay Clan"...
Hope you oldies have fun writing here.... the login details was sent to your email..so anyone can put an entry in!

After you login, you will have what you call a "Dashboard". The 2 things you should ONLY touch is:
"+ New Post" and "Manage Posts"

Don't touch settings or layouts unless you know what you are doing =)

To post click on "New Post"
1) Add a title
2) Type what you want to write, add pictures, links, change the size of the font/colour, etc..(it's like writing an email and the bar above is like what you see in Microsoft Word..easy!)
4) MAKE SURE YOU FINISH OFF WITH YOUR NAME.. ie -Jason
5) Now you can either "Save as draft" OR "Publish". Save as draft would let you come back and edit it next time, and it won't show up on the "VISIT" site, or you can publish, which will..well..publish it onto the "VISIT" site (VISIT site meaning http://tayclan.blogspot.com/)
6) If you chose the Save as Draft option, you can go back and edit it by clicking on "Manage Posts" which is on the DASHBOARD when you first login. Under "Manage Posts" you can edit any of your old entries as well (if you made a mistake or forgot to add a picture, etc)
7) Thats it! Easy..Please make sure you write your name when you finish your entry, otherwise no one will know who write what!
8) If you want to reply to something someone has said, its probably better to "Comment" to their blog instead of posting a blog entry [it'll be less messy]. To comment on someone's story, you need to be on "http://tayclan.blogspot.com/" and under each entry there's an add comment feature! Keep your eye on this for comments from everyone else... OR i've added a chatterbox feature on the right side. Just type whatever you want in there..it's like MSN Messenger/mIRC/ICQ..but just for everyone to write/see

For those of you who have existing Gmail accounts or Blogger Accounts, I can add you as a publisher, so you can use your existing account to post an entry into the blog. Tell me if you already have one, and i'll invite you so you have access to Tayclan.blogspot.com Thanks!

We also have a tayclan Photo Sharing website to post photos...since there's some many photographers in this tay family. You can add photos to the blog, but if you have a whole album to show, its probably better using Google Picasa [http://picasaweb.google.com]. Add photos online or using the picasa program. You need to login under the "tayclan" login.
